The innovative GE CARESCAPE Gateway solution enables the automatic transfer of trended patient data to nearly any third party system or charting tool to and from the Hospital Information System (HIS) and/or Clinical Information System (CIS). Clinical data can also be communicated to/from CARESCAPE Network patient monitoring equipment that is networked and using HL7 data integration standard. Furthermore, for every patient monitored on the CARESCAPE Network, a stream of data in waveform and numeric format can be accessed by clinicians in near real-time.
